Kelly began her career in the legal field in 1982 when she began working with the Administrative Office of Courts as a Deputy Clerk and Courtroom Clerk in Cumberland County and surrounding counties in North Carolina. She moved on to work for many different law firms across the state as a legal assistant and then paralegal. She joined our team in October, 2011. She comes to us with 28 years of experience in all facets of office management and civil litigation in insurance defense (including subrogation claims), researching insurance claims of all types including professional liability, automobile accidents and accident reconstruction; worker’s compensation fraud, finding the “lost plaintiff”, fraud investigation with regard to asset transfer (real property, intellectual properties and securities); she has experience investigating family law matters (custody, child support, visitation, separation/divorce and equitable distribution) as well as criminal law. She has excellent trial preparation skills and preparation of all trial related documents.
